review below by Britannia Music

Following on from his last spellbinding album Celtic Legend, Llewellyn takes us on a musical adventure tale into Celtic history. In Moonlore keyboards are combined with Uillean pipes, whistles, guitars, piano, flutes, drums and Celtic recorders. Ethereal and enigmatic vocals are provided by Juliana.

Written to celebrate the feminine, this album is based around the triple aspects of the Moon Goddess - Maiden, Mother and Crone. If like this listener you aren't familiar with Celtic mysticism there are enlightening sleeve notes which explain all.

If you're looking for a de-stressing, winding-down CD then this is surely it. With track names like Hunter's Moon, Across the Loch and Echoes of Ancient Stone this CD conjures up perfectly the romantic and magical world of Celtic landscapes and creates a really peaceful atmosphere.
