review by Dan Liss, NAV Music Reviews, USA

Shiatsu is the Japanese version of acupressure massage, which uses fingertip pressure to activate the energy grid and vital organs of the body. Composer Llewellyn worked with Shiatsu healer Ian Welch to create music designed to allow the healer to work better with the client.

The music is arranged to begin with a soft welcoming approach ; onto mid-tempo and up-tempo passages; and finally to relaxed vocals and soft chimes which awaken the senses at the end. Even if you are not a Shiatsu healer, this music offers a soothing respite from the traffic and noise, and could help calm a work environment as well as a therapist’s office.
